Does anyone know if Baldur's Gate E.E. supports multiplayer via the internet or LAN? I've always wanted to play it with my friends but could never get the original version to work on multiplayer.

Currently it seems to support Multiplayer via Internet..though you´d need to know the IP Adress of the person you´d like to connect to. A more comfortable Multiplayer is planned though (at least it says so in the multiplayer menu ;)

There are plans to enhance all of this, so that multiplayer between a PC, Mac, iPad, etc, is all possible with the ability to use the BeamDog server to host/join games down the road.
It's still a work in progress.

Me and some friends have played it on LAN and it does "work" but it is bugged and crashes constantly. I hope the multiplayer overhaul fixes this because as it sets now we have all wasted 20 bucks.
This is my first experience with Beamdog and consider me officially pissed off. If you plan on playing multiplayer I don't think its worth your money.

Time will tell. Not that am going to play mp. On the old one I used MP to make Full groups of my own people to do the story.
