Are there any improvements to the spell effects at all? I see the lightening spell which looks just like the old lightening.

I see no improvements at all. What is enhanced exactly? I thought they were redoing it with 2012 graphics.

They've listed what was Enhanced: Porting the whole game to the ToB model, adding all the extra classes that appeared in BGII, adding new NPC, adding a couple of new areas, adding support for modern resolutions and re-coding basically the whole game, there's no load screens anymore, you can zoom, the menus are awesome compared to before(Spell books, Inventory, Stats etc)... anyway that's off the top of my head...
Nowhere did they say that they were improving spell effects, or graphics... sorry if you didn't know that :/
I'm thinking they should list the enhancements more clearly on the game's main page so people don't end up buying it if they don't want it.

Well, actually there are better spell effects for some spells, atleast i think so, clouds are looking great now, "color spray" looks better also. I think some spells got remake, some wasn't touched at all ;)
