I have pre-ordered the game and yet i can see no option to preload it. it just keeps taking me to the preorder screen and asking me to pay again.
any help please?

I also had trouble at first. Start the preload thru the beamdog client or using the stand-alone installer. Thanks to PhillipDaigle for posting the info/links on the BaldursGate forum:

Im currently installing the game with the installer and its working perfecty.

I had no issues at all. After it's done downloading the loader just comes up and says pre-load complete in the stand-alone installer. It will have a play option when it comes out on the 28th. Not before.
