The dawn is especially cruel this morning...
For as long as you can remember your view of the world has been limited to the heavily fortified walls of Candlekeep. Your foster father, Gorion, has done everything in his power to protect you, and keep you out of harm’s way.
All of that is about to change. Forced to leave your home under mysterious circumstances, you find yourself drawn into a conflict that has the Sword Coast on the brink of war. An iron shortage of unknown origin threatens to plunge the city of Baldur’s Gate into conflict with Amn. Meanwhile, there is something else at work, far more sinister than you can even begin to fathom...
Since its release in 1998, this classic saga of mystery, intrigue, and adventure has set the standard for Dungeons & Dragons™ computer roleplaying games. Customize your hero’s traits and abilities, recruit a party of brave allies, and explore the far corners of the Sword Coast in your search for adventure, profit… and the truth.
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition contains the original 60-hour epic, as well as the following expansions:
|Required System Memory (MB)||512 MB|
|Processor Speed (GHz)||Dual Core Processor|
Why so slow? Was there any solution found for this?
Nevermind, I closed and reopened the launcher, now it is working with email.
I preloaded BGEE last week and now wish to get started. But how? I understood that there would only be a small download needed yet there is no link to that, only the monotonous 1.8Gb download again? I am using the Baldurs Gate Launcher (not the Beamdog client thingamajig; although I got it from Beamdog). Any advice
when i start the downloader, the download starts normally, speed gets up, but then after 5 to 8 mb it slows fast down till i loose my internet connection and even (!) my wlan. only a reset gets me up again... whats that for a crap??? i payed and i just want to posses that game at least...
How can I move the Game Info folder off of the desktop and into the application folder? If I do this it forces me to download the game again.
Does anyone know how to enable the cheat console in os x?
Thanks in advance!
Same problem. But for me it is not necessary to change resolution: just go to windowed mode then back to full screen and voila!
Oh! I discovered it by accident. Trackpad gesture: two fingers on the trackpad, third finger clicks!
I've seen no issues like this, personally. The icon to enter or exit a location appears automatically when the cursor is placed over and entrance/exit.
Don't Beamdog people read any of these forums. This is a good question and I am interested in the answer also.
The original game was localized in Italian and many other languages.
Do you mind some translations will be available?
Thanks, Vagus, but it turned out y old mouse was the problem. 'Got a new one and finally can play the game.
Disregard. Completely shutdown the application and restarted the system and things are as normal again. Perhaps a plist went awry somewhere...
I've had success playing multiplayer. In fact i you want to play with or need me to join, I'm open just message me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hey all, I'm not sure if they have a forum for MP games, but I'm open to making some sort of way to get that started.
An answer for a question.
then click the button (beneath the purchase button) that says "install now".
You'll download the downloader and everything will be hunky dory when you input your account info.
How did you UNinstall it? I'm trying to, but can't. also on Mac OS X (v10.9)
Will I be able to play a tcp\ip game with a friend if he has a pc ?
